IMPORTANT NOTE:

Switched the build to only PCVR for the time being. unity was starting to give fits about exporting to .apk so here we are. (i need to update the banner and header image to not say QuestVR, apologies :s )

About

Take a load off from the intense and overwhelming VR games and play a slightly stimulating game of Marble Madne VR MARBLE GAME.

Roll through multi-staged levels and avoid dropping or destroying your marble. Side-roll obstacles and navigate through the handcrafted levels onto the GOAL tile under the time limit given (shown on your right hand).

Features (PROTOTYPE)

  • Physics-based marble rolling action.
  • eight levels to roll through.

Don't lose ya marbles! but...

*This game is in a prototype state. I made this to challenge myself in seeing if I could make a playable prototype in a week's time (it took me about 3 if I count planning).

Controls

  • You move with the left analog stick on the VR controllers.
  • You can jump with either controller's grip triggers.
  • Rotate with the Right analog stick to get a different view.
  • You can pause with the left controller's menu button (or right hand's primary button)
  • You select options on menus with the pointer trigger of either hand while pointing at the option you want.

feed-back-o pls

Not for nothing, I know it's not much content, but any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Especially the kind of feedback that's like 'you should add more levels'

Music Credits

Background music during levels: Aeon - grindhold

Title background music: Bossa Nova - Joth

Installation

Unzip marble_ascent_025b.zip & run "Marble Ascent.exe" to play the game.

I recommend using Sidequest to sideload this .apk file onto your Quest headset. I haven't tested it on the Quest 1 so I can't say much for this app's performance for that headset. Switched to PC build.

A great game. Some nice physics with the ball.

I would have liked the camera to move around a little bit more than it did as sometimes it was difficult to judge the path required.

Thanks for sharing!

Here's my effort.
