Metroid-VRemake

*Metroid is the intellectual property of Nintendo. This project and the accompanying 'making of' video are for educational and entertainment purposes only.

As a challenge to myself, I set out to make my childhood game Metroid on the NES using Godot/XRTools to quickly make a short demo.

Features include the basics; 3 enemies, 1 area to explore and find upgrades in (Missiles, Morphball, Morphball bombs and E-tank) to get to Kraids boss arena.

*BIG NOTE: Progress is not saved after death/game closing. Everytime you start a game, its essentially a new game.

Controls

• Move/Turn with Right Analog Stick.
• Jump with Right-A button
• Shoot with Right Trigger
• Morph into ball - Right B-Button (after upgrade is attained).
• Morph bombs - Right A-Button (in morph ball mode & after upgrade is attained)
• Toggle missiles On/Off - Press Button on Cannon Arm.
